REFLECTANCE CORRECTION FOR PERSPIRING FACES (TA-P2)

Abstract : We present a parameter-free method for estimating the BRDF of a subject's skin from a single image. We show how the technique can be used to remove specularities caused by perspiration or oil on the skin's surface and demonstrate that this yields improved analysis using shape from shading.
