A Training-based No-Reference Image Quality Assessment Algorithm (WP-L1)

Abstract :

A new image quality assessment algorithm using no reference images is presented. This algorithm models human quality assessment in two steps: visual components detection and quality modeling, which are further associated with typical object detection and machine learning research respectively. A prototype system is built using face detection and RBF networks, and our experiments indicated promising results.
