REMESHING ALGORITHM FOR MULTIRESOLUTION PRIOR MODEL IN SEGMENTATION (WA-P4)

Abstract : Multiresolution framework for 3D segmentation require a specific prior model. This model needs to be a multiresolution mesh , and need to be as uniform and as regular as possible for the snake algorithm to converge. We propose here a remeshing algorithm to compute such a model from an arbitrary triangular mesh. We show some result and both synthetic models and organ’s models.
