In my studies, practical training and jobs I have learned and trained many methods of project management and scientific work. In addition to that I have improved my soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, rhetoric and many more.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Office: I can work with the standard office software for writing, presentation, calculating and data administration with SQL.
Simulation: During my studies I have learned several simulation languages (GPSSH, ARENA, DOSIMIS) in courses and seminars.
Programming: Information technology including the language Turbo Pascal was one of my major subjects at Gymnasium. At university, I took courses in C and C++.
Others: During jobs and industrial placements I got to know several other programs like Lotus Notes, Corel Draw, CAD and Flow Charter.

I worked with Virtual Reality software (like VRML, Cosmoworlds) and hardware (“Planungstisch”) at the Department of Logistics of the Magdeburg University. My job was creating VR-Models and integrating it in the “Planungstisch” (a projector for 2D- and 3D-presentation of material flow systems).

LANGUAGES

English: My skills in the English language are on a intermediate level (6 years at Gymnasium). I understand conversational English when spoken clearly.
French: Having taken French courses at school for only two years, I would like to improve my basic skills.
Finnish: I lived in Middle-Finland for one year and visited a Finnish elementary school. Being together with children all the day I have learned the language very soon.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT
2001 – present Member of the board and head of the department of quality management and project co-ordination of “SIDUM e.V.”.
This non-profit-organisation supports students on their way to self-employment by setting up junior consulting enterprises. Our customers are departments of the University of Magdeburg and companies in Saxony-Anhalt.
2000 – 2001 Elected student member of the council of the department
of mechanical engineering, Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg 1999 – present Member of VDI working circle „Conveyer technique, material flow and Logistics“
1996 – 2000 Member of the board of the local riding club in Schöningen. I took responsibility for the children and youth department.
