Abstract

We consider the problem of estimating the density of independent and identically distributed couples associated to pulses in nuclear spectrometry. We rather observe clusters of pulses deduced from pulses by a non-linear relation illustrating the so-called Type II Counter Problem. From a relation between the probability density functions of the sequences, we propose a plug-in estimator of the desired probability density function.
