Transportation in Aachen
Public transportation in Aachen is organized by bus. Tickets can be bought from the bus driver, the central bus station or an automatic vending machine. There also exist passes valid on busses for one or more days. Aachen is a medieval town and hotels, banks, shops, and other locations are in walking distance of the Conference site, so you may decide on-site if it is convenient to get a bus ticket. Traffic in the small city centre is very busy. It is hard to find parking places even though there are some sign-posted public parking garages. We recommend to follow the local parking information system. Electronic indicator boards give you information about the way and the present capacity.
